These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of The Seed Learning website and tutoring services (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, enrolling in a program, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. Scope of Services

The Seed Learning provides academic tutoring and educational support for students in Grades 1–12.
Our services may include:

  • One-on-one tutoring

  • Small-group sessions

  • Homework support

  • Skill-building programs

  • Test preparation

  • Online or in-person educational assistance

Details specific to your child’s program will be outlined at the time of registration.

 

2. Enrollment & Registration

Program availability is subject to scheduling, tutor availability, and student placement.
Enrollment is considered complete only when:

  • Registration forms are submitted

  • Payment (or payment plan) is confirmed

  • A tutoring schedule is agreed upon

We reserve the right to decline enrollment if a program is not suitable for a student’s needs or capacity.

 

3. Payment Terms

Payment requirements depend on the program selected and will be clearly stated during enrollment.

  • Payments may be due weekly, monthly, or per session.

  • Accepted payment methods include credit card, ACH, or other methods we make available.

  • Late payments may result in paused sessions or additional fees.

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our cancellation policy.

 

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand schedules change, and we aim to be flexible.

Session Rescheduling

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited.

Program Cancellation

Parents/guardians may withdraw their child from a program at any time by contacting us in writing.
Refunds, if applicable, will follow the refund policy outlined during enrollment.

We reserve the right to dismiss a student from the program if behavior or conduct interferes with learning or safety.

 

5. Tutor Assignments & Session Delivery

We make every effort to match students with appropriate tutors.
However:

  • We may reassign tutors as needed

  • Session format (online or in-person) may change based on availability or circumstances

We strive to maintain consistency and will communicate any changes promptly.

 

6. Educational Outcomes

While our tutors work hard to support academic improvement, we cannot guarantee specific grades, test scores, or outcomes.
Success depends on many factors, including student participation, practice habits, and ongoing engagement.

 

7. Parent & Student Responsibilities

To ensure a positive learning experience:

Parents/guardians agree to:

  • Provide accurate student information

  • Ensure the student attends sessions on time

  • Maintain a quiet, distraction-free learning environment (for online sessions)

  • Communicate concerns promptly

Students agree to:

  • Participate actively

  • Complete assigned practice or homework

  • Demonstrate respectful behavior toward tutors and peers

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the affected tutoring services

This includes situations related to technology failures, scheduling conflicts, or third-party service interruptions.

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Utah (or your state if services occur elsewhere).
Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within that state.
